Save time typing with your iPhone’s Text Replacement feature
Perhaps like me you like to use abbreviations and shortcuts to type messages quickly, only to receive a confused response from the recipient? There’s a pretty neat feature that’s probably under-used on your iPhone to fix this problem whenever your typing messages, e-mails and chats: Text Replacement.
You can pre-define your most commonly used phrases and assign them shortcuts. Then, when you are typing a message, simply type your shortcut and your iPhone will automatically insert the full phrase whilst removing the shortcut text.
